Job Description

NEW PROGRAMS

 

  • To manage sales activities for the
    assigned programs, being fully responsible for commercial matters and being
    core member of the YFAI Development Team, providing appropriate participation
    to team activities
  • To bring into the development team of
    the assigned programs the Customer Requirements, to be the Customer voice in
    the Development team and actively work and coordinate to match Customer needs
    with YFAI procedures and targets
  • Maintain Customer Relationship with
    Purchasing Customer department (both Commodity and Development teams),
    understanding and anticipating customer expectations and maintaining good
    relationship and satisfaction level
  • To make the Customer understand YFAI
    rules, needs and procedures in a constructive way through a two way
    communication, to avoid procedural conflicts or report to YFAI management any
    misalignment
  • To support other YFAI departments when
    facing with the Customer every time commercial matters can be involved
  • To discuss initial quotation review,
    reach initial price list agreement with the customer, create and update cost
    breakdowns, to attend change meetings, collect cost information, quote and
    agree with the customer all price list change, tooling cost, engineering cost,
    extra costs in Operations.

 

CURRENT PRODUCTION

 

  • Manage the commercial aspects of
    assigned programs ODM’s.
  • Price list maintenance (ODM, LTA,
    Economics...) of the assigned products.
  • To support the VO team for the assigned
    programs, leading the commercial discussions at the Customer managing one-time
    costs and price variation in alignment with pre-existing agreements

 

 PHASE 1 – Quote phase for Nomination

 

  • To participate to quotation activities,
    actively supporting the Sales function and the Platform,
  • To participate to the definition of
    Customer cost breakdowns, actively supporting consistency between internal cost
    calculation and Customer cost understanding
  • To support the team for the management
    of unclear product/logistics aspects, through the definition of complete and
    appropriate Commercial Assumptions

 

 

 

 

Your Qualifications

  • Master degree, preferably in
    Engineering or technical disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably
    in Sales, Purchasing or Program Management
  • It is required “Team” approach, openly
    and constantly working as a member of YFAI team
  • Ability to discuss with all internal
    functions (OPS, Engineering, Quality….) to obtain first hand reliable
    information
  • Ability to explain in a clear and open
    way the customer needs to all concerned departments.
  • Available for business trips (1-4 days)
    in EMEA region
  • Native Italian speaking
  • English language knowledge required
