Regional Human Resources Manager

The Regional HR Manager is one of the keys of organizational success because it is the driving force behind achieving the commercial objectives for the overall Human Resources Department. The Regional HR Manager champions the goals and objectives of the company, the specific business activities of the leadership they are partnered with. This role will have management responsibility for Human Resource Managers located throughout the regional geography and will be required to maintain proper communication and visibility.
Operations - Working with executive leadership, the RHRM is responsible for initiating and implementing various programs with internal business partners. The creation or refinement of HR policies and procedures, with the global and local perspective.
Workforce Planning – The design, refining and launching of a staffing and workforce management program to optimize production and services. Responsible for forecasting, planning and augmentation initiatives to create positive growth opportunities. Development programs for internal high potential workforce and management leadership training programs.
Employee Engagement - The RHRM is also responsible for developing, monitoring, and interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs). They are also in charge of the rewards and recognition initiatives of the organization to promote employee satisfaction. Ensuring that information is being dispersed properly to all levels of employee through multiple mediums to maximize visibility. Gathering critical feedback from employees on methods to increase communication and positive engagement in their departments.
Compensation/Benefits – Partnership with the teams that are responsible for managing functions, weighing in on critical decisions that will have business impact. Providing guidance and information to each of these areas on employee performance, historic measures and offering insight on difficult decisions.
Health/Safety – Providing a safe work environment for all is paramount on everyone’s list, so being informed on new OSHA guidelines, communication to appropriate HR staff and promoting initiatives that champion safe work practices are all areas of attention for the Regional HR Manager.
Staffing -Charting recruitment and retention programs to build a result oriented commercial structure is their main responsibility. Supporting talent acquisition initiatives and contributing to sourcing, interviewing, selecting and training programs is the mainstay of their duties. Appraising local managers and initiating development programs for them also comes under their authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field of study or equivalent work experience
- Masters degree is a plus
- 8+ years experience working within a Human Resources or related function is preferred
