PTP Scanning & Processing Supervisor

Job Description

Objective of Function

•       Lead Accounting team

•       Organize workload of team and set priorities

•       Support timely and accurate reporting of financial results

•       Motivate and develop team members

•       Ensure ethical and accounting principle compliance

Main tasks/Important responsibilities

•       Ensure proper scanning and posting of incoming invoices and finance documents

•       Ensure timely payments to suppliers

•       Resolve incompliant invoices and reduce on-hold invoices

•       Support resolution of accounting issues by outlining available options

•       Analyze of On-Hold invoices, identifying the root causes and finding possible solutions

•       Ensure scanning, validation and archiving of received financial documents is done properly by the team

•       Ensure smooth daily operations by proper allocation of transactional volume to the team/ avoid workload allocation issues or improper allocation leading to inefficiencies of some and overload of other employees

•       Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) 

•       Support compliance

•       Timely react on any requests from internal and external parties

•       Quality and SOX controls

•       Responsibility for results of the team, quality of work, people rotation and staffing

•       Participate on transitions and process stabilizations and alignments between BUs

•       Drive continuous improvement and cost saving within the department, train and support team member to actively participate on CI projects

minimal base salary from: 1800 EUR

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
  • Min 5 years in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm
  • MS-Office, ERPs (SAP, QAD, MFGPro) is advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with transitions or special projects
  • PMGB certified, FIA intermediate is the advantage
  • Min 2 years of experience with leading people
