Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for
coordinating and facilitating activities associated with material flow and
inventory control to meet customer requirements on a timely basis while
maintaining a safe work environment.
Main
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining product
identification and location program - Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
- Monitoring and controlling
inventory integrity - Must be able to work
efficiently in a fast paces, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct
data - Monitoring and controlling
inventory integrity - Documents cycle counts per required procedures and obtain necessary
approval to adjust system inventory. - Researches and root causes inventory discrepancies and resolves issues
in a timely manner - Work with materials, quality and operations
team to reconcile inventory, receiving, delivery, presentation, and/ or quality
discrepancies with inbound or outbound products
Your Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s
Degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience/Skills/Knowledge
- Recent
experience with Cycle Counting/Inventory - APICS certification preferred
- Detailed understanding and experience working with MRP systems
- Computer literate working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
- Experience with MFG-PRO
- Accurate Document Control
- Previous experience in Supply Chain and inventory control; experience in
repetitive, just-in-time manufacturing, beneficial - Effective oral and written communication skills
