The Commercial Director will add
value to our growth activities by Identifying
New Commercial Opportunities and Manage
Existing Business. You will act as a business partner to the Business
Unit leadership and provide strategic advice to upper management.

An excellent
commercial director has an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent
organizational abilities.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and
    implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives
    achieving profitable growth
  • Understand the
    requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
  • Lead Account Managers
    to acquire new customers and manage relationships (new and existing)
  • Collaborate with and
    coordinate diverse teams (PH1, Eng., YFT, APD, Ops, etc.) to drive improved
    profitability

  • Develop pricing
    strategies to build and maintain profitable partnerships with customers
  • Monitor performance of
    commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior
    management
  • Lead Account Managers
    and develop their skillsets
  • Develop process and
    implement actions for Bump Chart accuracy
  • Represent Business
    Unit to senior leadership with regards to commercial strategies and issue
    resolution.
  • Resolve A/R issues
    with customers
  • Develop business plans
    for new opportunities that align with Business Unit Strategic Plans. 

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience as commercial
    director or other relevant role.
  • Proven experience in
    sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with automotive
    customers.  Experience with Asian OEM’s
    is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding
    of market research methods and analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of
    performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Commercial awareness
    partnered with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent
    organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading and
    developing people.
  • Outstanding
    communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • BSc/BA in business
    administration, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA in business administration,
    finance is a plus
