Primary responsibilities include upgrading, troubleshooting and assisting in repairing of electrical controls for manufacturing equipment.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment productivity and capability. Train operators and maintenance on the operation and maintenance of new control systems.
Must be able to prioritize work consistent with business needs. Special Requirements include overtime schedule and unscheduled, occasional travel and casual overtime within the plant policy.
5+ years experience in manufacturing.
BSEE or BSME preferred. Desired competencies/experience in writing, modifying and debugging programs for PLC's (Allen Bradley preferred).
Knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley (PLC2, PLC5, SLC, Panelview, and ControlLogix), Intellution HMI and Giddings & Lewis Motion Controls is preferred.
Experience programming and interfacing Fanuc and ABB robots in material handling applications.
Experience with error proofing software and applications a plus.
Good AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills including MS Project.
Experience working in a TS-16949 certified manufacturing plant. Working knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.Apply online now
