Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Phase 1 (m/f)
Job Description
The objective of this function is to provide manufacturing engineering expertise to product innovation process to build manufacturing suitability into new product design for phase 1.
Responsibilities:
- Network capacity & footprint planning
- Facility and infrastructure execution
- Design for manufacturability
- Process flow and line balance
- Process feasibility and mold flow analysis
- Development of new materials and processes
- Best business practices and standards
- Manufacturing process design and verification
- Prototype and production tooling
Your Qualifications
Requirements:
- English and German language is a MUST - Fluency in reading, writing and speaking
- Min. 2 years experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer
- OEM or Tier One automotive seating or interior trim work experience
- High volume automotive manufacturing engineering work experience
- Strong computer and manufacturing simulation skills
- JCMS/ Lean manufacturing
- Plastics Process and Equipment
- Plant Layout using AUTO CAD
- Equipment selection, purchasing and installation
- Tooling and fixtures
- Degree in Engineering (mechanical or industrial)
Other information:
- full time contract- contract for an indefinite period
