As a Manufacturing Engineer you will work closely with key manufacturing management to modify existing or develop new assembly / manufacturing processes and/new project manufacturing systems.​

  • Benchmark new manufacturing processes for assembly areas.
  • Be part of manufacturing team to help develop and refine plant layouts for optimization of material flow and equipment utilization.
  • Coordinate specific projects; time lines, cost tracking.​
  • Other duties and responsibilities as you gain experience with the product line.

Create, implement and manage all required documentation to manage the manufacturing processes including analytical models, procedures, work instructions, employee training tools, process FMEA’s and others

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
  • Automotive Tier 1 experience
  • 4+ yrs exp. in Manufacturing, Process or Industrial Engineering areas.
  • Strong experience with plant floor manufacturing.
  • Production Assembly experience
  • PFEMA understanding and experience helpful.
  • Lean or any (Continuous improvement) experience a plus.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Process design and development experience.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities and engineering analysis skills.   
  • Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
