Yanfeng Automotive Interiors – your career in motion

 

 

  • Controls Engineers will develop and upgrade electrical controls for manufacturing equipment
  • Design, troubleshoot, and assist in repairing of electrical controls
  • Develop and debug PLC/PC programs for new equipment and upgrades
  • Work with Process Engineers, Production departments, and Maintenance to evaluate controls requirements for production line improvements and modifications
  • Manage projects including cost estimation, timing, and scheduling to improve equipment productivity and capability
  • Implement production line improvement and modifications to electrical drawings, PLC programs and Manufacturing Executive System (MES)
  • Train maintenance on the operation and maintenance of control systems
  • Troubleshoot communication issues between plant floor and IT error proofing systems
  • Provide technical support of current model automotive interior manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, and equipment
  • Resolution of quality and production throughput issues through structured problem solving processes
  • Continuous incremental improvement of cost and quality metrics
  • Interface with advanced engineering to implement proposed engineering revisions
  • Modify and create SQL queries
  • Create reports by writing stored procedures in Microsoft SQL server 2008

Your Qualifications

 

  • Technical education helpful
  • 1-3+ years of related experience required
  • Experience in the Automotive industry helpful
  • Experience with working in a high volume manufacturing facility with error proofing software systems
  • Experience in a broadcast delivery environment helpful.  Writing, modifying, and debugging programs for PLC’s
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC's required (exp with RS Logix, Devicenet, ControlLogix), Siemens 7, Mitsubishi FX, Panel view, Factory talk studio helpful)
  • Knowledge and experience in programming Fanuc, ABB, and Kuka robotic systems
  • Knowledge of VFD’s including AB and SEW drives
  • Working knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Other processes and technical knowledge that would be useful include: Vacuum forming, plastic joining, Laser scoring for PAB applications, and stitching.
